You can pick up this side quest from the Gran'place notice board.

Talk to grandmaster smith Lafargue to start this quest and unlock other Scavenger Hunt side quests.

The five side quests talking to him can unlock are:

• Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Feline Gear
• Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Griffin Gear
• Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear
• Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear
• Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear

Complete one of these scavenger hunt side quests and talk to him again to complete the quest. Completing this quest will unlock Grandmaster crafting for whichever set of diagrams you have completed getting.
